Typically in patients with a positive ANA, a positive P-ANCA is a false positive.

  • Interstitial nephritis

  • Non-vasculitic systemic rheumatic diseases

  • Autoimmune gastrointestinal disorders

    • UC and Crohn’s

  • Cystic fibrosis

  • Infections

    • Bacterial endocarditis

    • TB, Leprosy, Malaria, IM, Aspergillosis

  • IgA nephropathy
