About
Malady Wise is made by an Australian GP who enjoys the strange end of medicine: zebras, eponyms and the case that doesn’t quite fit.
What you’ll find here
- Daily puzzles. More than a dozen free games, new every midnight Sydney time: a diagnosis case (Dxtective), blood tests (Panelysis), clinical photos (Glimpsis), X-rays and scans (Opacitis), word games, trivia and a medical sudoku. They get harder through the week, Genius on Sundays, with a rare Einstein day.
- ECGs twice a week. Arrhythmix: one fictional case and one ECG to read, every Monday and Thursday.
- Weekly specials. A medical cryptic crossword every Saturday (Cryptoplexy) and twenty hard trivia questions every Sunday (Grand Rounds).
- Normie mode. Flip the switch at the top for everyday, non-medical versions of the games.
- Plain-English health guides. Conditions and Medicines explained in a couple of minutes, plus tools for health professionals.
- Zebra Mail. A free weekly email with the week’s health news, interesting research and puzzles.
Every case and patient in the puzzles is fictional. Real clinical images are credited under each one.
