About Dxtective
Dxtective is a free daily diagnosis game, a medical mystery you solve one clue at a time. Each case is a fictional patient written by an Australian GP. You see the first clue and name the diagnosis; every wrong guess reveals another, up to six. Cases run from everyday GP presentations to genuine zebras, and every answer comes with a short clinical pearl.
How to play
- Read the first clue and type your diagnosis.
- Each wrong guess, or Next clue, reveals another clue. You get six.

- Difficulty rises through the week: Easy Monday and Tuesday, Medium Wednesday and Thursday, Hard Friday and Saturday, Genius Sunday.
Who it’s for
Medical students, nurses, paramedics, doctors and anyone who loves a medical mystery. Easy days suit curious beginners; Genius days will test a consultant.
