Normie mode 🙂
Norm here. Same daily games. Zero medicine. For anyone who never wanted to know what a vagus nerve is.
What is it?
Malady Wise is a daily puzzle site built by an Australian GP. Most of it is medical. Normie mode swaps in everyday-knowledge versions of ten games, so your friends can play without a stethoscope. Flip the 🩺 Medical | 🙂 Normie switch at the top of any page.
The games
- Dxtective: what am I? Six fun-fact clues, one thing. Every wrong guess unlocks the next clue.
- Triviosis: daily trivia. Ten questions, one theme, no medicine.
- Wordemic: guess the five-letter word in six tries. Like Wordle, with more sass.
- Zebritis: name a correct answer. The rarer it is, the more it scores. Saying ‘Paris’ is allowed. It just scores like a horse.
- Comorbix: sixteen everyday words, four hidden groups. Like Connections, with red herrings on purpose.
- Gridectomy: a five-by-five mini crossword with everyday clues. Done before the kettle boils.
- Suturix: find the theme words woven through a letter grid, plus the spangram that names the theme.
- Morphemia: seven letters, one compulsory centre letter. Build words and climb from Beginner to Genius.
- Linkase: a word chain. Fire, truck, stop, watch. Fill in the links without dropping it.
- Grand Rounds: every Sunday, twenty questions on the week that was. No options to hide behind.
